they gossip. they ask for reassurance on there appearance. It actually doesn't take long for women to goto the bathroom. 90% of the time in there is spent post flush. Primping and gossiping.

I am from Wisconsin too and all the girls i know go in pairs/groups. i was at a play last weekend with my Girlfriend and a bunch of other friends of hers. At intermission the whole row of them gets up and goes to the bathroom together. not a single one stayed. It happens everywhere.

I think it is learned.. I doubt you will see women in Asia go to bathrooms in 2...or maybe even Europe, I don't recall this phenomena happening over there. It is probably learned here as young girls see older women do the same thing and its quite "chic".
