That's part of it, but not nearly all of it.

As porn became more popular and mainstream during the 90s, there was much more of a demand for male actors. Therefore, the competition wasn't nearly as fierce for a relatively larger number of roles.

And if it sounds like I researched this stuff, I did. For a Pop Culture in America final essay, I did a report on sexuality, nudity, and pornography in American culture.

If you get regular sex you can control yourself much better. It is about experience and how often you have sex. Go say 3 weeks without orgasming/ sex and you are much more likely to orgasm quicker then say if you have had sex 3x a day for 3 days...the voice of experience :thumbsup:. Exercising goes along way to making you last longer in bed also.

There's a difference, but they're both pretty much selling their bodies for money and goods when it comes right down to it.

The main difference is that one of them is doing it for a single person, and the other person is doing it for thousands of viewers.

I'm not saying I would approve of the lifestyle for my sister, mother, or daughter, but to say that they're dirty sluts and part of the dregs of society is just absurd.

I think you make a really good point. IMO, the biggest difference between the two is one goes home with a lot of money and one doesn't.

I've known three girls who claimed they had sex with 80+ people. I always wondered why they weren't in the porn business at least getting paid for it.

I suspect those who are morally challenged start out with a need for money -> Waitress at Strip club -> Stripper -> Drugs -> Porn.

I haven't researched it though, but I wouldn't turn down a grant...
