I read what you linked but didn't see the term savages used to describe a person, instead it was used to describe a specific act. A "savage home invasion".

However, I must admit, savages is a bit weak as far as 'racist' comments go. In fact, the whole idea behind "stealth racism" is a little silly. What is this, passive aggressive racism? Its a bit self-defeatist isn't it?
You are right, it described an "act", and if you read back that is still what is being questioned here.

I've never notice white people smelling like dog after getting wet/rain. I have noticed though that white people tend to have more natural B.O. though. Not always bad, but sometimes it is.. bad.

OP - our hair smells different than people of colors when it's wet. We're use to being around other white people so we don't notice it. I shower well every day, but if I don't shampoo my hair (very rarely) my black GF comments on it. She says it reminds her of Balogna. I've had a lot of other black people say when they smell a white persons hair wet it reminds them of a dog. All of them are rarely around white people, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. I do notice when my GFs hair's wet it definitely has a smell to it, I'm not saying it's bad. But it smells different than either of my sisters hair when it's wet.

No it actually doesn't, she doesn't have thick wooly hair, it's pretty straight. Her hair gets much more wet than mine, now mine beads off and I don't even have to towel dry when I get out a swimming pool.
