The first step is jobs. Get the folks who can work working. Programs to train or retrain and wages that meet the basic human needs in this country...

As I see it, Compassion means caring about the people and helping them help themselves until they no longer need help.

But if everybody had a job who would the truly worthless judge then? I can tell you that the contempt would fall on certain kinds of labor, definitely union labor, because they would earn more than they're really worth. And folk would insist that some folk be unemployed regardless, to have somebody to kick. Everything would be about perks and money and toys. Sadly, the deeper you look into who needs help the bigger the problem you see.

"I am so objective that I can actually look at another person as if he were me, and by doing so, I can think of myself" I'm sure someone said that but the who eludes me.... as usual :hmm:

So... what we need is a large scale exorcism... Only problem is to find the exorcist... the one who is without sin... hmmmm He left awhile back and so guess we wait till he returns. In the meantime, I suppose the only answer is to move the needy into the homes of the haves and have mores... or at least camp on their lawns. Maybe boycott their income derived goods and services... until they are needy and everyone will be needy and we can move the Indians out of their teepee and there it is... Utopia.

Congressman Winston Smith would comply with the wishes of Vladamir and spice the Bolshevik with the kind of ism that would cause me to fish in the Liffey while awaiting the bushels of fish to multiply,..
