Okay, send me your digital guage and keep using your pen one with a marking every 5psi and an accuracy of +-1 marking. I don't even know how to use those damn pen ones or how they work. You put them on the tire and the thing flies out to an arbitrary position?
are you kidding me? wow.

I use this personally.
same... cheaper version though.. heh. Use it for auto-x

I'll also add I hate tire pressure monitoring. It's on my 3, but it was paired w/ something I wanted. I have a stupid annoying light on my dash all during winter because like hell if I'm going to pay $400 for a new set of sensors for my winter rims. I took the dash off and taped over the lit area... no more annoying light 🙂

gotta love the low-tech solutions to thhe high-tech problems

OP is incorrect.

Cheap analog gauges are notorious for not being calibrated properly. Nice analog gauges cost $50+ whereas digital gauges can be as cheap as $6-$7. The digital gauges are very accurate and as good as the expensive analog versions.

By using digital gauges we are SIMPLIFYING (no measurement error, just read the number), so please restate your point OP.

The above P is incorrect. Mine matches both the digital and every one I've used it against (the integrated ones on the inflation hose). I guess I have a good one.

I don't see why they don't build a pressure gauge into the tire somehow and have it displayed on the HUD.

Don't they already do that on some more expensive cars?

Yes, in fact I believe some Lexus SUV has the ability to read tire pressure and compensate for it.

The H1 has done it for years.
how is it sending it to the HUD ? Tires come off...

Ever heard of wireless?

anybody seen the commercial from honda where the windshield detects rain and turns on the wipers. Great something else that can break and cost a few thousand to fix.
