Why do we never hear the term European-American?

I hear Asian-American, African-American etc..., why no European-American?

In WW2 and before the term was around, as was "Amero-European" and was used in relationship to the superiority of the white race. Was also used as a phrase to put a more "us versus them" mentality, since Amero-European was ontop, than Russians, and Chineese,.

I imagine it was discontinued in use because it was seen as racist, and can't be used today because of political correctness.

Interesting observation, notice the Japanese is the only woman? I imagine it was used to further make them seem as "less" than the American-European and more "feminine"

I've heard it used before. It's rare because the majority of Americans are "European" so it's therefore not used much.

Heres a picture of a document paper that was handed out in the early century. The names on the place were different (much more "racist" named used") the chart was used to show how the races went.. As you can see, it gave justification to colonizing and helped in the progression of the idea of the "white mans guilty"

because there is a 1 word which indiciates what you are describing.
The word in caucasian.

1 word always trumps 2.

Caucasians is a stupid classification.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caucasian_race

The concept of a Caucasian race was developed around 1800, and today, some scholars reject the concept because human genome studies have not shown a precise genetic definition of Caucasian.[3][4]

hyphenation-American should only be used in cases of dual citizenship, naturalized citizens, or first-gen American born citizens. Continents shouldn't apply at all. I am no more European-American or Scottish-American than others are African-American who have had 3+ generations of family before them over here.

Stupid PC crap....
