🙂 had all 4 pulled at 8am and was at work by 9...ate lunch that day too.

Only problem is I had a microdont that grew back (baby wisdom tooth)...didn't have problems with them other than the crevices were too deep to brush and a cavity was in the center of each.

for the first 5mins I didn't realize the pain killer wasn't working 🙂

And with them yankin all 4 they're definatly going to have to put me to sleep first... not gonna have someone's fist in my mouth sawing and yanking while I'm awake. 😉

no they wont put u to sleep, its all local anastesia nowdays - putting u to sleep is much more dangerous and the pain still reaches ur spine.
I got all 3 of mine pulled (actually milled out as they were still "babyteeth") out at once and only local anastetic. Actually it was quite horrible. It was done in a usually well reputed army hospital in Hamburg, but when I was there in the operation, they were doing some powerline maintanance in the area and the jaw surgery section apparently wasnt connected to the emergency power.
I had 2 powerfailures for several minutes during the operation. That was suckage - actually not and that was the problem 🙂

Anyway getting them out wasnt that hard actually but my jaw/face was swollen for more than a week - usually it doesnt take that long

huh? they're putting me to sleep... valium and general IV anesthetic or something like that

You mean u want them to do that?? Or is that the procedure they have? If so, very strange usually full nacosis is avoided whenever possible. However, maybe its different where u are - dunno how u feel after a full but with local its just like always when u get a local at the dentist a little sizzle in the tounge when it stops and thats pretty much it; oh and some pain will start but nothing some medium painkiller couldnt handle and even that should be pretty much gone the next day

Yeah, the pain isn't so big, there's just a lots of pain when you can really FEEL the stupid teeth :|

I still have 4 of them, 2 still inside the gum. They don't bother me so far, so they stay.

I think it is a conspiracy by the god of the dentites (clue: Seinfeld) to keep his chosen people employed.

Because when we looked more like monkeys and at lots of gritty food we needed those teeth for grinding.
We used to be able to move the digits on our feet individually. Now, we must face facts: you can only move your big toes individually. If you try to move another digit around on your foot, all 4 move together. Crazy! 🙂

What a bunch of pussies!

I had all 4 of mine out in the morning and was eating solid food in the evening.

I love the dentist! 😀

Did your wisdom teeth come in nice & straight? Mine were under the gums and I didn't stop bleeding for about a day. I think I still ate solid food though

Mine had not cut the gums yet either. I was 16-17...somewhere in there.

Why not get them all 4 yanked at the same time like I did earlier this year?

I got pull 3 of them together during summer this year.
The other 1? The dentist say no need to be pull 😛

Man, I lost my weight around 6 pound after the surgery :|

hmm...i've been meaning to lose a few pounds. w00t 😛

I suddenly had 4 new teeth that grew out in the back when I was like 14. Are those wisdom teeth? I asked the denstist if those 4 new teeth are wisdom teeth and he said they are molars. So I kind of lost.

I got mine taken out when I was 15. I guess I was lucky since I just felt bad from the pain medication, then the next day felt great
