Why do we bury people?

We have to have something to dig up 2k-3k years from now to see how we lived. That is of coarse if humans are around to do the digging in 2k-3k years .

it's weird that we bury people nowadays. it's a waste of space. about the resurrection thing, if they do get resurrected: 1) they'd look like zombies and 2) how the hell are they going to get out of the coffin and that ton of dirt on top of it?

Cemeteries are VERY popular around here. Last time I checked everyone was dying to get in.

I've had so much fun in life that I can't donate my organs, unles it is to my enemies....

So I guess a burial will do. Unless by then we have figured out how to ship dead bodies to the sun....:Q
