Why do Tyler Perry movies suck so bad?

the Madea movies are awful. and i just got done watching I Can Be Bad All By Myself. gah, it sucked. the little girl did a good job acting and Taraji is fine as hell. but this movie sucked. its on netflix if anyone wants to watch it

Not all his movies suck, I saw For Colored Girls in December and it was really really good. I haven't seen most of his flicks though so I cannot judge him on a whole.

Not all of them are terrible, some of Tyler Perry's movie are fine, not great or good just fine but there's some really bad ones there as well.

Actually she's just the type his movies are made for, he doesn't target the urban demographic or people who are fans of gangster movies. Not exactly sure who else you think is out there. It's surely not Caucasian people. And the hip-hop crowd absolutely hate his movies. So yeah, Oprah and people like her would be the exact audience he's going after. And not surprising it's the exact audience who go to see his movies.

I usually find that if they have to attach the movie creator's name to it, like it's part of the brand, then it's probably not something made for me.

His movies and TV shows are plain awful. I have no idea who the hell is watching them. Actually I do have an idea of who is watching them and they would fall into a category of people who I wouldn't hang out with.
