why do threads like the recent zombie ones get locked up?

I can see locking up things that are 10 topics with a single post in each, but when other threads are going 20-30 posts why lock them up as a 'nef'?

This is more a general question for anyone's opinion.

we should go to one topic for each subforum probably so it's less confusing.
 
It's because it got completely out of hand, and turned into a systematic spamming of the board. No one should be surprised because that's never been allowed.
 
well if people are having fun with the threads I don't really look at it as spamming in my opinion...now with someone made 20 nef threads in a row and only 1-2 people replied, then yeah that's spam.

Uhh, that's exactly what the Zombie threads turned into. Anyone with a slight twist on the subject considered their twist Own Thread Worthy.
