Question Why do the same programs appear on both C and D? How can I safely remove the copies on D?

1. I never deliberately installed programs on my D. Thus why do some programs appear on both C and D?

2. How can I harmlessly remove the duplicated (on both C and D) programs from D? Please see screen shot below.

Did you upgrade to a new SSD and clone your drive to the new SSD?

If the answer is yes then you can format D and use it for additional storage. Otherwise sync the 2 drives with a copy and then format D.

At some point it could be the drives were paired Raid 1. Maybe it came configured that way and they turned it off for more storage
