Why do the Iraqis want us out so bad?

After hearing today news story about how we had to take down a flag from a communication tower and the Iraqies protesting like there is no tommorow, it got me to thinking. Why do they want us out so bad? I mean here we are after freeing them from this guy that would shoot the hell out of them if they even thought of pulling a protest. Have they forgotten what we have done for them? Do they not understand that we are there trying to rebuild their country for the good? Am I wrong into thinking that we are doing them good?

We invaded their country, took care of their "big problem" and now they want to deal with it on their own. Nuff said.

Of course it is a lot more complicated than that, but I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate a military from another country coming in and pushing you around.

Shouldn't this be in P&N? And I think it's because they see a big ol' army from the West sitting on their doorstep, and they don't like it one bit. I know I wouldn't like it if there was a large Saudi or Iranian army sitting on my doorstep, even if they were there to help.

We have already tried to let them figure it out on their ownback in the old Bush days, and they didnt pull through.

Simple. Suppose someone in another country deceided that Bush was awful for Americans and supposedly a threat to their nation (I don't care if they are right or wrong on this). Suppose they invade America and win - driving the Bush family into hiding and killing some of them. How long would you want their troops in America?

Politics and News. Yes, this is only one side of story. What do you think would happen if we left? It would most likely be a massive spawning ground for terrorist group and not to mention saddam loyalist would take over the contrey.

We've already taken care of the major issue. But there is a smaller other issue of making sure that the Iraqis don't get him back in power that we're concerned about. That's why we're still there.

hmmm....lets see...The US invades their country for no reason (where are the WMD's?), kills thousands of their people, and now is telling them how they should run their country. I think if this happened to you, you might be a tad upset.

Bush isnt out slaughtering tens of thousands of Americans. Its somewhat different is it not?

My point is that Saddam was out killing his own people in cold blood for no reason at all and here we are freeing them, yet they are protesting left and right.

I probably shouldnt have quoted you, it was more to the people saying that if some other country invaded the US. I dont think we can compare the US and Iraq in that way.
