You know if you bookmark a site, and it has an icon... Well they always seem to just default to the IE "e" logo.. why?

IE Favorites icons are often kept in the temporary internet files - if you clear the files, you lose the icons. FavOrg was a freeware program that searched your favorite web sites for icons, retrieved them, and kept the icons in a separate location so they would always be available. I believe FavOrg was a ZDnet program, so you may find it there.

Cool! I had a similar problem and didn't know about FavOrg, just grabbed it from ZdNet and it seems to work fine in XP (only change I had to make was to set the option to not detect the network)

search FavOrg as mentioned above. Works for me (I.E 5) even when the cache gets cleared (which is when yours disappear).
