You would know that because you landed on the moon yourself, right?

no man, it's because my foil hat allows me to pick up extra-terrestrial news transmissions.

I work at the Google moon base G.C.H.E.E.S.E. in the HiDeHiDeHo department and I can tell you for a fact that the moon is indeed made of cheese and astronauts did land here. The reality of the moon landing is that Google was actually first here as they used their time machine to build the facility here almost 5,000 years ago.

Hallowed are the Ori, and thanks for all the fish.

They went to the moon, oh yea, but they couldn't show the real pics because they found a black obelisk up there and we can't let it fall into the wrong hands, if you know what i mean.

Hm i talked to my friend about it.

His theory was: We never went to the moon because the year was 1969 and thats way too early for us to achieve something like that. He says they did the whole video tape in a studio, and then numerous efforts were done which were kept confident and away from the public, and they succeeded after a while but never made it public that the try in the 1960s was false.

I dont agree with him but whatever..

i did think the rippling flag was weird, but think about it, they had the tech to have freaking tang, Hi T Lube, and to build a 500 foot tall rocket that could fly. Maybe it was solar wind? maybe it was some revolutinoary material? I mean it's nasa.
pic of flag

nm google answers to the rescue.

it ripple from the extension of the support frame.

They had trouble extending the horizontal telescoping rod
and could not pull it all the way out. This gave the flag a bit of a
"ripple effect," and later crews intentionally left the rod partially
retracted.

most people who say that the moon landing is fake are the ones that accepts what they are told. But its worse, they accept what they are told in the interest of controversy. They probably don't care about the truth, they just want a good conversation starter, or just a reason to hate NASA.

The thing that I don't understand about the whole thing is how we can "lose" the technology to go the moon. I heard that exact quote from a NASA scientist many years ago. He said we "lost" the technology to achieve such a thing again.

it coudl have been by luck that it all worked out. Then poor documentation killed everything.

We didn't "lose" it, we just don't have a spacecraft capable of landing on the moon anymore... I think. There aren't any runways for the space shuttle there, and I don't think the shuttle can land on it's butt. :p

I specifically heard him say that even if we wanted to build another one we no longer had the technology to do it again. I'm pretty sure he did blame it on poor documentation like EmperorIQ said.

I think we've been there, but not on that 'original' voyage. Just watching the movies it looks so obviously hokey... but I could very well be wrong, as I've never been there. But comparing the footage to footage taken later, outside of the camera being obviously better, the proceedings as a whole on the subsequent trips seem much more realistic looking (the buggy driving around, etc).

1) We landed on the moon in 69. Check out BadAstronomy.com for any rebutals to the conspiracy theorists.

2)Several millionares have payed Russia to goto the International Space Station. No one has been. to the moon, fly-by, landing, or otherwise since the 70's.

3) Don't expect to see Russia going to the moon in 08. They are broke.

Well now that's rather strange.

Yeah, didn't we live in caves and hunt dinosaurs back in the '60s? Obviously we didn't have NEARLY the necessary technology to go to the moon. OK, granted, the SR-71 came out in the '60s, but that was alien technology and doesn't count.

We landed on the moon. End of story. And the holocaust did happen. Enough of the groundless conspiracy theories.

The space shuttle can only reach low earth orbit, so there's no way its getting to the moon. Unless we give it stimpacks :Q
