Sometimes NOT voting IS voting. Ponder that.![]()

Voting is a right and a priviledge. But just becase you CAN do something doesn't mean you have to do it. In the grand scheme of things, 1 person not voting doesn't have any effect on the outcome in most cases. But of course if half the population all thought they were that one person, then it'd have a huge effect.

The common vote does not elect presidents anyway, the electoral college does.![]()

i was going to say this, if you don't vote then you are making no effort to change things, not voting and then bitching about polotics is like doing nothing but sitting on your ass, and then complaining that you have no job

Thats pretty much exactly what I was going to post.
I vote for the local and state governments, but the national ones are largely a waste of fvcking time. By the time they get through the primaries, only the most mush mouthed, boring ass, stand-for-nothing incompetents are left standing. Anyone of any substance is dumped out as too controversial to the wide demographic that represents the united states as a whole. In the effort to find a person the represents everyone, we pick a person that represents no one. To make matters worse, there are only two parties...the douchebags and the turds. Neither ever have any new ideas, and their old rehashed ideas are still bad.
And this brings us full circle. Some one said they don't know enough about politics to vote...I think most people that vote with any conviction for a candidate on a national scale do so precisely because they don't know anything about the candidates. People are fvcking stupid.
In the end, you just end up voting for the one you think won't fvck YOU personally over more then the next guy. Because when they have no good plans you have to fall back on being selfish.
