Yes. Same as any other diet, if you go back to your old habits..eating 4,000+ calories a day, and not excercising..you will get fat again. This is no different from Weight Watchers, Sugar busters, etc. You are not to stay in ketosis in the lifetime maintanence phase. You could, but it would be pointless. After Atkins..here are the things you can enjoy.
All Vegetables
All Fruits
Whole wheat/grain bread
Whole wheat pastas
etc etc..
The things that should be off limits to any diet remain..refined flour, sugars, etc.
Lets say you go on a cruise..and binge the entire time. You can go back on induction for 2 weeks, to lose that weight again. This is not reccomended to do over and over again, but can be done.
