Why do some drivers lean to the right(center) while driving?

Is it more comfortable to drive like that? Or does it look cool? Or they try to get a better stereo sound effects to move their heads toward the center of the car? Curious.

I lean to the left because I drive with my right hand and usually my left elbow is on the window ledge. If you drive a stick you probably lean to the right though

I just slouch sometimes. I thought the gangsta lean was to the left (outside) anyway. To the right, to the left, I go either way. It usually means I forgot to put my seatbelt on, nothing more.

i lean to the right cuz I rest my right elbow on the arm rest and steer with my left. then there are those that have their entire arm hanging out the left of the car. didnt momma ever tell you now to stick your arms out the window of a moving vehicle?

i also lean towards the right when the GF is in the car with me.

Yup. The gangster lean is when these riceboys recline their chair all the way down even though they're not leaning on it anymore and just hang on to the steering wheel. WTF? Uhhh ok. Funny thing is when they race someone they go all the way up to the windshield looking like their face is going to smack it...but the seat is still reclined all the way down.

lol there are folks all around here that, i swear, have modded their cars with no front seat. it's like they sit in the back and drive, it looks so damn dumb. you look and there is no one up front but some idiot halfway in the back leaning to the side.

i lean to the right when im in the process of looking for a different station, or just want to leave my hand on the stick, even if its an automatic (i tend to go into neutral and lower gears even if im not driving a manual).. keeps you more aware I think as oppose to getting too relaxed, and gives you a little more control..
