I?ve developed a real respect for religion. Just because I don?t understand why others desire to follow a path other than the one I chose doesn?t mean I should bash them in any sense of the word. I have some Christian friends and they are wonderful people.

The problem with many 'fundie' sects is that they use large chunks of the old testament without realizing that Christ's sacrifice completely invalidates that whole section of the bible.*

what the point? Sodom and Gomorrah were the chief cities of their "District" . . . i guess we needed a 'name' for sodomy.

the 'excuse' given by the bible was that Lot's daughters thought they were the only cities in the world and their dad was the last man.
