I took my wife out on Monday and we ate fish and chips. the fish was great but it was served with waffle fries. Why do restaurants sell waffle fries? have you ever been to a restaurant with good or great waffle fries? I have not in my 35 years. I cannot name one good restaurant that serves good waffle fries.

Am I alone in my disdain for waffle fries? Is it time to outlaw them?

I've had some phenomenal waffle fries, but I agree it's harder to pull off. They aren't as forgiving as stick fries.

I have never heard of waffle fries before. Waffle batter dipped in grease?

We should ban Mexican and Tex-Mex food while we're at it though, that stuff tastes like crap. Should be banned. For your health and safety.

Ban them, and I'll personally come gunning for you. Those along with Indian are my favorite foods.

This. I was in a Friendly's once with a big group. Someone in the group ordered a waffle fries appetizer and insisted that everyone tried them. They were pretty damn good.

Those look good but i live in Minnesota and we do not have Chik fil A so i have not had them. But most waffle fries are unflavored and not good. I would much rather go to Matt's Bar where the Jucy Lucy burger was invented and get their stick fries than waffle fries somewhere else.

Agreed. There was this burger place around here that made everything fresh. If you ordered fries they then cut the potatoes and fried them for you. Always took a while but the food - including waffle fries - was amazing

Sadly, they changed owners and while the pace has increased the food quality has plummeted :(

Personally, I like Carl's Jr. waffle fries more than Chic-Fil-A waffle fries. Carl's Jr. puts more seasoning in their waffle fries. Yum.

What? If I had one wish, it's that every singe restaurant would have waffle fries. They're the best style of fries out there. The holes in them ensure maximum oil coverage and it makes them crispy all over. How can you dislike that? OP fails so fucking hard.
