You seem to forget that someone is paying for the bandwidth 🙂

I doubt if they're paying by kilobyte

They pay for a set amount of bandwidth... which I'm sure is way more
than this forum is ever going to use

A little extra here and there is fine ...

It's like those cell phone Nazi's that are like "No you can't use my phone
to make a quick call cause I gotta watch my minutes"

Easy to say when you aren't the one paying for it.

As for the ads, I don't see them anymore since I upgraded to Firefox 1.0.6 yesterday.

Don't understand..

Like wasting bandwidth is worse than leaving the lights in your house on 24/7
or cutting down an entire forrest to make junk mail

Since when has this SAVE THE BANDWIDTH campaign started ?

Do people really think there's a bandwidth shortage going on,
and if we don't watch it, the prices are gonna skyrocket like gas ?

that pisses me off. I mean yes it's good to keep your cell phone use within limits. But if a friend wants to use one minute of my airtime, I'd rather pay the 15 or 20 cents on my bill than look like a cheapskate.
