Why do people think smoking !s cool? It's not so much that !'m anti smoking, I just wonder what kind of marketing they did to make !t appear "cool" to us. How would you make a similar product cool?

I don't know anyone that would admit they think smoking is cool, but I've never met a smoker where it wasn't pretty obvious that they did think it was cool. It's basically a way for trashy kids to look like they don't give a fuck, or for hipster kids to make an ironic statement or glorify their vices. The older folks are just addicted and it has a lot less to do with fashion.
