Why do people say none CC paypal?

Are there no fees for seller if someone pays them out of bank account or existing paypal money?

CCs always have fees since Paypal has to pay a fee for the transaction. If you do a bank transfer it is free for personal accounts up to a certain amount.

they charge 3 percent for business premiere accounts, whether its CC or non-CC

a person that accepts non-CC has a personal account

One should never use paypal if at all possible. If you absolutely must, then use paypal only with a credit card, so you at least have an additional layer of protection. No way am I giving PP access to do anything to my bank account.

Non cc payments now incur fees don't they? Thought the only way to avoid is to send it as a gift.

I keep a PP bank account just for that hearing horror stories and so I could be verified at one time. Ask you banker. I think mine has $63 in it now LOL. Soon as money hits I transfer cash to real account with a phone call. I'm not really a heavy ebayer/seller though... only 28 items since 2004 and probably same number in forums.

Because I hate PayPal with the burning passion of a thousand suns and I'll never use them again after they stole $300 from me.

That's what I was wondering. a guy just sent me $61 and I got $58.93 he swears he used cash.

Hmm looks like they changed personal acct fee structure since last time I used it. So saying non CC paypal makes no diff.
Our fees are now the same for all accounts - Personal, Premier, and Business. Please note that the Purchase rate applies to all payments using Request Money.

Pay - Free

Get paid - 1.9% to 2.9% + $0.30 USD†

I was a seller for a few years on Ebay, and the problem with taking CC's through paypal is you can get chargebacks literally months later. Paypal is fucked up when it comes to processing CC chargebacks as they have no time limit, if a CC company comes back 3 months after the fact and claims fraud or a stolen card, paypal just jerks the money out of you paypal account no questions asked or no warning.

For me to avoid Paypal transaction fees, I choose transaction type Personal, then Payment Owed, and funds for transaction must come from non-credit funding card source.

Unless it's changed...

You can only accept CC based paypal payments if you "upgrade" your account to premiere. Once the account is "upgraded" you are charged a fee for ALL paypal payments, including instant transfers that were free before. The upgrade is really more of a cancer than an actual upgrade.

This fact is NOT obvious...which is by design. The process of upgrading is made easy and of course paypal suggests you do so.

not sure anymore, but they used to give you one freebie per month on non premium non business accounts, the second and subsequent payments you recieved they would hit you with fees. And as stated above once you upgrade to premium you always get hit with fees

I'm going to cancel Paypal and only pay and accept USPS MO and cancel my ebay account too and only sell through forums. They are nickle and dimming us to death on shit.

I get Paypal without fee in my Premier account all the time with above specifics requested from person sending money.
