I'm not sure I've ever even heard anyone say pee-can, pee-con maybe. I live in the deep south also, and you know all of us southern boys are ignant. I say puh-con.

"Look Jellomancer, I can see you're really upset about this...I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill and think things over."

:p

I've said it both ways. It depends on what mood I'm in. It's just not really a BFD, if you know what I mean.

What makes you think I'm really upset? It's just a pet peeve.. My heart rate is 70bpm.

Just calm down, ok. We don't want you to say or do anything you may regret later.

70 is pretty high for a resting heart rate. Either your upset, on crack, or you don't get much exercise. :p

I just took mine. It's 48 BPM. Of course, I run 4 miles, 4 days a week :p

Why do people say eye-raq?
My dad pronounces Toyota - "Tie-ota". He also says "DEE-troit", instead of the emphasis being on the second syllable. Warsh vs. wash, not the legal case. Yall and yonder.

C'mon to think of it, why is "tie" not pronounced "tee"?
