Is this just a rhetorical questioned hidden as a rant? Or are you really that clueless?

The movie, "The Fast and the Furious" is to blame completely for the Riceriazation of America.

Anyone that acted, produced or did support work of ANY kind for this movie (to include the guy that made the doughnuts for the crew) is hereby sentenced to a lifetime of Genital Herpes...on the face.

It adds 400 HP @ a the LEAST!

Didn't you KNOW that?!?!?

THE ONLY other "bolt on" that adds more BHP is a "R" sticker.

Yep, it's called "rice". If the spoiler didn't come stock with the car or the car has no need for a spoiler, then DON'T put one on. People just don't get it....

True. "NOS" is actually a trademarked, brand name. Same thing as "Kleenex." Kleenex is a brand of facial tissue. Same thing as Mike Brand Beer (the most popular, so it's called "Mike") and Bill Brand Beer. You can't call Bill brand, "Mike" b/c it's not. It's beer, but it's not Mike Beer.

I know what I mean but I just confused myself.

Stock spoilers are fine. Anything other than that, usually pretty fugly and nasty looking.

I'm gonna get flamed for this, but I don't care.

I think a well designed spoiler on a car looks good. I think if people are serious about making their cars look as good as possible then they do things like add bolt ons. I've said this before but think of it this way: why do computer enthusiasts put on window kits/fish tanks/coffee makers/cold cathodes/colored pcb''s/whatever to their computers? Does it make it run faster? No, not at all. It looks good and they enjoy doing it. Why do you paint your house? Why do you wash your car? Cause it looks decent and you're proud of what you have. Let them do their thing. If you don't like it, then just ignore it.

Some people like the way they look...why do people put 22" chrome spoked wheels on Ford Expeditions?

I have a factory spoiler on my car, and I think it looks much better with than without.

Although I agree with most said about ricers, why are people anal about "NOS"? I mean, after all, do you say "do you have a facial tissue?" and not "do you have a kleenex?"? Who cares? It's like people on this board whose only form of attack is finding the slightest flaw in someone's English. Can't you find something more substantial? With ricers, there's plenty of that, at least :)

If your car isn't a Porshe or similar, you should not have a spoiler. News flash: your Civic will never get any beneficial downforce from that double decker thing that you screwed onto the back of your car.

I don't have a problem with most stock spoilers...it's those huge wings that Howard Hughes would be proud of bolted on to cars that I have a problem with.

Yeah, I have no problem with stock spoilers, they're usually pretty small. My old car had one, and it pissed me off because it was a pain to put a bike rack on the trunk. But it wasn't ugly.

why does a car have trim? why two tone paint? why metalic paint when you can have flat colors. why anything? why aren't cars shaped in the most space efficient way possible instead of for asthetics?

neff boy.
