Why is everyone so obsessed with paying for music? There are hundreds if not thousands of bands that allow recordings of their concerts to be freely distributed.
I probably paid for 1 or two albums in the past year simply because I have been DLing free concerts.
See my sigs fro all the links you need.
EDIT: I am mostly shcoked because when I was done with college, I had over 100 cds. at $15 a CD, that's alot of cash. I pretty much stopped supoprting the recording industry in favor of supporting bands that make their money by playing music live. It's an itneresting busiess model. Get people interested in your live performances .. then more people show up to your concerts. Why give record companies money when it can be avoided?
