Why do people leave messages for the wrong person on your voicemail?

I'VE SENT LETTERS TO THE FVCKING COLLECTION AGENCIES. THEY SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO HARASS AN INNOCENT PERSON, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY THINK. So, like I said, that isn't my problem. I'm not hiding anyone. I'm dealing with assholes that waste my electricity and time because they THINK someone lives here. I've had this number for 9 months. She doesn't live here and never lived here.

that's like when i've called a wrong number and realized it so i ended the call, and the person calls back and says "did you just call here?" "who are you?"
