Why do people keep posting Amazon Gold Box deals in HOT deals?

Because most people don't check them because of all the kitchen and tool junk they get and think it's not worth their time. I think alot of people wouldn't know about good deals such as the digi cam one if it hadn't been posted.

I have yet to see anything that I'd even think about buying, even if they cut their couponed prices by 75%. But I guess the real purpose is to promote their home, garden, and kitchen stores.

Almost ALL my gold box deals have been tech gadgets of some sort. This morning I had 2 mp3 players, some kinda compact flash card I think, a Samsung 19inch monitor and something else which escapes my mind.

Almost all my Amazon Gold Box offers have been computer or electronics or cameras, I found 256MB CF for $49 after rebate and coupon with free shipping but wasn't able to get it because it was my friend's and I couldn't get his permission to buy it since he was at work!
