Does the OP think that 90% of Americans are wrong to say "Babe Ruth had 5 RBIs in the game" rather than "Babe Ruth had 5 RBI in the game."??? (the other 10% are too young to know what an RBI is)

In the military, are they MREs (meals ready to eat?) Or are they MRE? The first is the correct and common usage.

So, at 65 mph (singular acronym), in 5th gear, my engine is going 3200 RPMs. Bite me. ;) (actually, Walleye is correct - 3200 RPM is the correct usage)

what about in the case of 1 RPM, 1 revolution(s) per minute, it shouldn't have the S, but the way you state it, it does.
