Why do people insist on hooking up their cameras

it's a million times easier to plug in a camera than open the camera and take the memory card out and put it in your computer.

I don't have a card reader, infact i've never removed the CF card from my camera in the 3 years I've had it.

Because I'm forgetful and I will grab the camera and walk off without taking the card out of the reader... then be a sad panda when I can't take a picture wherever I went.
