Why do people honk?

I never drive over the speed limit but I roll through stop signs.
I ride my brakes on the highway.
I believe that changing lanes on the highway is more dangerous than driving in the wrong lane for my speed.
I am afraid of the gas pedal.
I go through short lights at idle speed because I am afraid of my gas pedal.
When I arrive at a 4-way stop sign and there is nobody to my left or straight ahead, I still wait my turn before turning right.
I make left turns with my right turn signal on.
I use my turn signal in the exit only lane on the highway.
I can never keep track of when it's my turn to go at stop signs so I just guess.
When I need to wait to turn left I never hug the left part of my lane so others can get by on my right.
I use my brakes on the highway even when not in traffic or being cut off.
I veer left before turning right and right before turning left.
I can't park.
I can't drive in reverse without hitting things.
I don't understand how to make a K turn because I don't know which way to turn the wheel or when, so I just try the same thing over and over until it works.
When I realize I am in the wrong lane for the direction I want to go at the intersection I just go the way I want to go anyway.
I change lanes without looking because it is the responsibility of the drivers behind me to avoid hitting me.
I have no idea where other cars are in relation to me because it's not important to know that.
Red lights are perfect opportunities to catch up on my email.
Driving faster than the speed limit is scary for me so anyone driving over the speed limit is a dangerous lunatic.
I don't use my left turn signal at stop signs and then act surprised and angry when the driver across from me goes straight when it was my turn.
The lines in parking lots are only suggestions.
There is a 50% chance that anytime I press one of the pedals I will press the wrong one.
I don't pay attention to light cycles so I am always pleasantly surprised when it is my turn to go.
Most people don't know that rotaries aren't one way.
Yield signs are the same as stop signs.
A red light doesn't count if I don't see it.
I tailgate people that are stuck behind other people.
I pass people that are stuck behind other people on the right and cut them off.
I box people out because I can.
I made all 10000 of my posts on AT forums while driving. Drunk.

EDIT:
I think driving straight in the exit lane is actually turning.
I make u-turns at 4-way stops, while other people are waiting.
I look right for cars coming when I am turning right.

I expected the last line to say, "Forward this to everyone you know in the next 60 seconds or you'll have car trouble and love life problems forever...."

What is wrong with this? If nobody is coming from the left and nobody is coming from straight ahead that means that somebody can only be coming from the right.

You have to come to a complete stop anyway. So if the guy to your right was there first he would go and you would go next which is correct. If they were not there first when you come to your stop then you would go first and that would be correct.

If you are not waiting for your turn then does that mean your running the stop sign?

Also the guy to the right might make a U turn so if you just go whenever you may be cutting off his turn.

I honk to remind other drivers that there are things going on outside their own vehicle.

When I was in China, drivers would honk as an added safety measure like when they would pass another car.

Americans honk out of road rage.

I would stop long enough to look left and right for cars coming. If I saw a car close to the intersection I'd stop long enough to make sure they stopped. I don't trust other drivers to do what they are supposed to do. The driving behaviors I see many people championing here on ATOT only reinforces that mistrust. I'm sure many here will say "Well you could see there was no one at the intersection, why stop"? Because of the guy who thinks just like you coming the other way that you might not see because of your myopic focus on the intersection itself is why.

Exactly you come to a complete stop, then you check if it is clear to start your turn. I guess they are talking about someone waiting for the other car to complete their pass through the intersection before they proceed.

Last time I honked was when a light truck cut me off on the dog-leg-crossroads.
But he was from Hungary, so he probably didn't know that the straight lanes have to drive around the left-turn staging area.
Luckily I anticipated his move, and no contact was made.
He could have just followed the line the cars in front of him were taking, though...

I hate it when I left turn on a single lane and have to wait for cars to finish going by and someone behind me waits until I'm half way in the turn and honks like it's my fault they got held up but were too chickenshit to honk while I was waiting, had to do it only when they could get away from me in case I bailed out ready to open up a can...

Probably because they think of other motor vehicles as photocopiers or other electronic devices and forget about the operator. I go ape-shit on machines in front of people all the time...
