It makes it as little more acceptable to be short, perhaps more curt messages. Also helps to explain spelling or grammatical errors. I changed mine to just say "Sent from a mobile device. Please excuse any accidental spelling or grammatical errors."

Sent from my Toilet using Crapatalk
i'm using the version 2.0 beta. it stinks.

Try using the nightly alpha build. Leaves the room smelling like roses.

Sent from my PC using a mechanical keyboard.

This would suggest that normal behavior of curt messages with bad writing is not acceptable, but that's how many people write normally.

It's actually really annoying how it keeps getting turned back on after updates in tapatalk.

I've been sent a few messages from the mods due to it and I hadn't even realized it was doing it again.

My solution, barely post anymore :p

I like to have it in my work emails, it lets customers know that I am on the road.

This. I write differently when I am on a computer vs. when I am on a phone.

That being said, when iOS6 allows for sigs unique to accounts, I will put my regular sigs in my iPhone and will just be more careful from my phone.

Bingo. Sure you could change it to say "Sent from my mobile" to make it more neutral but the message is the same.

At least mix it up once in a while.

Sent from my torture room at an undisclosed location.

it's tapatalk. we ask politely that you disable the sig feature in tapatalk.

I always forget until I see it pop up.

I hate the stupid sig that it uses. Mine used to say "Posted from my Droid X while doing 85 down the highway". Some people took me seriously though...

Guess people are just too lazy to delete the default signature. Plus it lets people know you sent the email from a mobile, and that you're most likely away from a computer to do any real work.

Sent from my UbuntuBook using Firefox.

I doubt most people know they can turn it off. Seriously though, its damn annoying. No one gives a shit where the message is sent from.

Sent from this post.

I use it for work emails just because it raises awareness that I'm not actually at my desk so don't come looking for me just because you received an email from me.
