Do you work for the marketing department of Apple or Samsung or whichever brand of phone you own? Why can't you just go into settings and delete the signature?

It's annoying, I agree.

lol--I love how your join-date and lurker status squares quite nicely with the rig in your sig. :D

...Or have you been in a time capsule?

Because the phone manufacturers want free advertising, and they know that most people are too lazy to take the time to figure out how to turn that crap off.

It's not the phone manufacturers. I'm could be posting this from my TF101, but you'd never know, because I use the stock browser, not that dumbass Tapatalk app.

Mostly the bolded. People aren't trying to advertise, they're just too lazy to deal with it. It's kind of like people who still have the dealer's license plate holder on a new car. They're just too lazy to remove/replace it and so now they're forever advertising for that dealership.

Why buy an iPhone if you're not going to tell everyone? It's only cool if other people know.

I put some sig like "Excuse any auto-correct errors"

EDIT: I assume you don't like sigs that contain computer specs as well.

I like to have it in my work emails, it lets customers know that I am on the road.

I hate that. Took that off my car, along with that ugly dealership sticker, as soon as I got it home.
