maynard james keenan has a great voice.
ben gibbard has a great voice.
john lennon had a great voice.
elliott smith had a great voice.
imogen heap has a great voice.

agreed wholeheartedly. anytime they said anything about music or a band, they set the bottom of my musical credibility meter.

why the hell does every Nickelback discussion slot them in the same category as Creed?

Creed isn't anyone's idea of "all time favorite band" but they aren't the worst either. I'd rate them a 6/10. That's good.
Chad Kroeger has a good voice: it's a hard rock band and it suits it well.

Ugh. I went to see the Rolling Stones on the Biggest Bang tour and Nickleback opened for them. What a friggen nightmare. Their music sucks, period. And they got a crap reception from the crowd. It was actually quite funny to watch

Chad Kroeger: "Come on Auckland, let me hear you scream!!"
Crowd: "....." *crickets*

Oh, and the singer sounds like he is taking a really hard crap, all the time.
