Things that are dead and buried should stay that way. When you start messing with necromancy it changes the natural order of things and never ends well.
Sounds like part of the dialogue tree in an Elder Scrolls game.

I saw a post by Preet98 - About a virus he had. It is only five posts long. Look for a post that says - Virus Two solutions were offered. It was first posted April 18, 2020 in Software in the Security section of AnandTech. I chimed in with my solution. Another member said that the post was six months long and that the person may have found a solution by now. I said - the person did not say he had found a solution.i honestly don't know
i love seeing old posts and i think locking them is lame
Question: Knowing what you have read here; should I have offered a solution or stayed silent?
No harm done. I like to help if I'm knowledgeable when ever I see a post - active or old.offered a solution
more people usually benefit from a tech Q&A thread than just the OP
I like people that spread love! There are a lot of no it all's and haters in the forums. So spread love...i love you guys
I'm ok with the discussion continuing, or getting updated. I hate it when it is some 1-2 post new user who is advertising shit.
