I don't hate Michael Bolton. I can see where Percy Sledge might be a bit miffed with Mr. Bolton for wrecking a perfectly good song but I hold no ill will toward the man.

never understood the hate either. i loved all of his songs in the 90s. haters gonna hate i guess.

how can you not like:
When a Man Loves a Woman
How Can We Be Lovers if We Cant Be Friends
To Love Somebody
How Am I Supposed To Live
Said I Loved You But I Lied. (my fav of his).

For my money, I don't know if it gets any better than when Michael Bolten sings When a Man Loves a Woman.

Because he sings whiny ballads about emotions that no real man would ever listen to because real men don't have to deal with that shit.

^wtf is that shit? Clearly she's leaving you because she doesn't want to date a woman. 66.66667% of his songs deal with that crap.

Oh, I forgot:

^who asks a woman if he can touch them? Just do it if you think she wants you.

That's probably why the dude has been divorced once + a recent broken engagement, nobody wants to date an emo pussy!

Selling records doesn't make a singer good, it just makes them popular. Most of his fans are white women in the over-forty crowd. My mom, for example, absolutely adores the guy. I had to listen to the same 3 CDs for years in the car with her. That's why I hate him. The douchey haircut didn't help, although I guess he used to have a pretty face. Kinda reminds me of Patrick Wilson.

Never liked his music (nor that hair) and yet he was suprisingly sharp and good-humoured on 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks', which kind of changed my view of the guy.
