i preface by saying that i am a religious jew.
i'm addressing points here, but i'm not sure exactly why -- but i will just for the sake of individuals who had to post some real lame comments in this thread.
what do the jewish people have to do with 9/11? so arabs hate jews, and that means that we're the reason for 9/11? i believe osama was targeting americans. otherwise, very holy jewish sites in israel would have been destroyed on that day.
furthermore, for the record, most jews don't go by the kaballah. just because you see ashton kutcher and demi going to a purim kaballah event, or madonna doing some kabbalistic thing doesn't mean that jews as a whole practice it. in fact, VERY few jews are kaballistic since many think it's too farfetched and mysticism doesn't have much of a place in our society. (and what's wrong with the kaballah anyway?)
i understand the cheap bias, and that one is understandable, i suppose. however, i can say that in my experience, i've seen more non-jews trying to haggle for lower prices compared to jews. i guess if you see the clothing typical to jewish individuals, you think "oh, another jew trying to be cheap."
control of the world? seriously, is president bush a jew that i didn't know about? many jews (not myself) are involved in politics, and there's a bunch of apathy on behalf of other people (non-jewish). if you care for "ruling the world," as you put it, which more politically correctly should be stated as "there are lots of jews involved in politics," then maybe you should try it sometime instead of placing blame on a group of people. if you think "ruling the world" is the jewish agenda and you don't like it, run against them in some political capacity. but my guess is that you could care less about involving yourself in politics -- so instead, it's more appropriate to say something negative about jewish people involved in politics.
A lot of it has to do with the unspoken fact of Judaism wherin a Jew will consider Judaism to be wholly superior and completely disregard any other ideas. To me, I could care less, we're all in the same boat regardless. 'tis their right, but most other religions preach tolerance moreso. Feel free to flame, I might be wrong. Wrong F...m?
you see such a thing in just about any race or culture. americans may see themselves better than europeans, and the europeans, therefore, hate americans. i don't think many jews have the mindset that judaism is "wholly superior" (in fact, i have a few close friends battling with what they call inconsistencies in religion). it's just that people usually prefer what is familiar, and judaism, to them, is a familiar practice. i'm very open to diversity and even embrace it. judaism (or shall i say, the old testament -- which applies to many other religions as well) frowns upon many practices that i think are very unique in this world.
because they sacrifice children and drink their blood...or that's why my great great grandfather was run out of russia for...so he went to poland...and got invaded by the germans...
someone in your family has been brainwashed. you're talking about a totally different religion.
i'll add that not all jewish people support the israeli agenda, so the parallels many of you mention are not necessarily "jewish' related.
bullycanadian: it sounds like you work with a bunch of uncultured individuals. if canada has some sort of organization as ADL (anti defamation league), you should look into it. i would.
