He just tells people (namely his target audience of females in there late 30s and 40s) what they want to hear. He doesn't really help anyone; he just says trivial things that play off of their emotions without really resolving any issues. He isn't a real clinical therapist of any type, his title of 'Doctor' comes from a PHD that is irrelevant to anything dealing with therapy. He doesn't make sense half the time, but his 'saying' still play off of his target audience's emotions, so he is successful, but he doesn't deserve to be. And the people on his show tend to have major issues he doesn't realyl resolve, but since it plays off of the target audiences emotions to have a battered kid on the show, he does well in ratings. :thumbsdown:
