Wow, This is the exact gym that I go to SD... The escalator leads the the second level of the plaza where there are other stores. Still it's pretty sad to see people the the escalator up to work out though.

No, these are the people who go there, maybe buy 1 shirt/pant and have to spend an additional 5 minutes looking for a spot closer to the door when the farther spots are empty.
