In high school, we had to take OCIP (oral communication and information processing). Part of the course was participating in a debate. The topic for my groups debate was anti-Euthanasia. So we researched it and had our arguments ready for the day of the debate. Come debate time, the other side, pro-euthanasia, got to present their arguments first. They got up and started going on about the youth in asia. We thought we did the wrong topic! But then the teacher/moderator stopped them. We were rescheduled to be the last debate so the pro-euthanasia folks could have a chance to redo their arguments correctly.

Oh, c'mon. Like that never happens to (English-speaking) kids at a Chinese school.
