Why do people erase their prices or items in For sale / trade?

I agree with you guys, but on a counter argument, I hate it when I search for a part to buy only to see Sold next to it.
 
*Secretly plots to make a whole bunch of FS threads with the items he wants listed as sold with ridiculously low prices.*
