I am withdrawing the question, so as not to face endless ridecule.

What I did not get is how to the power of four could be called anything but a cube. So they called it a hypercube.

/end of thread, please.

I never claimed to have taken anything beyond high school physics.

A square is 2D. A Cube is 3D. Hence squared and cubed.

2D is x,y

two things multiplied together gives you units to the second power. like cm^2

3D is x,y,z

three things multiplied together gives you units to the third power. like cm^3

So volume is cubed and area is squared. There you can go take Algebra I now.

Maybe if you spent more time learning real stuff than reading fairytales in your bible you might have known this.

so what is cm^4 called?

I would think the following would make more sense:

x2 = cubed

x3 = sphered

3.14 is a circle right...

x4 = cubed

Most historians agree the bible is around 2000 years old.

Einstein introduced the theory of relativity less than 100 years ago and said there was still work to be done.

How do you figure out the area of a rectangle? LxW ie. 2ft x 2ft = 4ft^2 or 4 square feet

How do you figure out the volume of a rectangle? LxWxH ie. 2ft x 2ft x 2ft = 8ft^3 or 8 cubic feet

Are you saying that a 2ft x 2ft x 2ft box isn't a cube?

DougoMan, are you retarded or just pretending to be retarded? Honestly you are retarded either way.

Ok, and to the power of four is a "hypercube." That is the answer I was looking for. I'm satisified.

I never took anything beyond high school physics, and was just curious about that.

OK, answer me this question:

If Newtow's equations are correct, why can't you solve for time?

F = dmv/dt, correct?

If that equation were really correct, shouldn't you be able to solve for any variable? Be it time, distance, mass or velocity.

I haven't done integration/differentiation since school.

Who says Newtons theorys are correct? Most of them have been superseded by relativity.
