Why do people bring their kids to 'Hooters'?

I saw an 8 year old boy having his birthday party there the other day.

I take my gf to Hooter's all the time. Its near work, the frosty mugs are nice, the wings are good, and the curly fries rock. She loves it.

They need to get their 16 kids out of the trailer every once in awhile, plus it allows them to watch NASCAR as a family.

Why not? The waitresses dress skimpily (possibly a new word who knows) but it isn't like taking your kids to a srip club or something. It is just a sports bar with hot waitresses.
