Why do people go to meetings without a pen and paper, claim they "got all of it" anyway, and then say "Oh I didn't hear that part" when later they fuck something up that was mentioned in the meeting?

So you Fuck something up after going to a meeting which has something important yet that important piece of info was not emailed out or given out in a handout?

Why would it be emailed or given out? lol that's your responsibility to write that shit down

Or what if it was time-sensitive and was to be completed before any info from the meeting was emailed out?

Or what if it was a discovery that was made as a result of the meeting of minds within the meeting?

Neither of these has ever happened to you? What happens in your meetings?

How does being engaged in the meeting require one to take less notes? If anything the opposite would make more sense.

Is that nehalem's notebook? :hmm:

pretty sure i can type on a laptop much faster than you can write by hand.

I usually run 80-120wpm but still prefer paper during meetings so I can just randomly freehand drawings and stuff. This is why I want a laptop with wacom-style stylus.

I've only seen 2 types of people who act like the OP: useless attendees and VP's.
