Why Do People Always seem to Blame or Ignore God?

I just want to know, since when do any of you have the wisdom that God does?
I mean, people just don't listen to him at all, and it amazes me how in the end, they either blame him for their failures in life or just refuse to acknowledge that trying it His way might actually be of a benefit to them.

Better yet, they're quick to torture, persecute, or just plain insult anyone looking to follow Him.

Anything great that you could come up with, any great creation or great idea or great accomplishment by man, God has done before. He created everyone and everything, yet few give him proper respect. By "weak" people, these aren't really the weak in physical stature, but spiritually weak, in terms that they rely on their own selves more than they would on anything else.

really, I'd rather be a sheep than a lemming. If you're not following God, you're following someone else.

Your thoughts here.

I love the contradiction in these two statements:

God made man with Free Will

It's all part of God's plan

Hmmm....

God doesn't have plans... plans fail.

God has a purpose, which never fails.

As for free will as it relates to God's purpose-- it's your choice after you hear all the facts... he's basically saying "either you're in or you're out". that's why we have the choice to make statements and have beliefs like you have.

The same people that blame him are the ones that follow him fool, your question misses the mark. People that don't believe in him don't blame him or ever even think of him when it comes to how things work in this world. Nice try but you fail.

why do people bash religion? It's so they can bash something and feel good about themselves :)

not so.... there are those that recognize that there is a devil/Satan/Beelzebub/Lucifer/original serpent/father of the lie.

it's the all-time battle of good versus evil.

but those who ignore god are just as misled as those who blame him. It's either man's own doing or the misguiding of Satan that causes bad in the world.

It's funny how christians like yourself preach understanding yet you present us with a 'with us or against us' attitude.

You know that lemmings don't actually commit mass suicide, right?
And if you're not following god, who's to say you have to follow anyone?
And how do you know god is male?

hey, I didn't say I was totally saved or anything, just stating that if you're going to seek existence beyond the first death, why not side with the Creator of all things. I mean, many are just happy living and dying in this system. but if you think you're being treated unfairly, read for yourself.

Actually, conjur, you aught to do some research on the Story of Fatima (Fatima, Portugal, 1910's), there are several books on the subject. Beware, there are a lot of inaccuracies (on BOTH sides) around the net.

yes, I do... just as sheep aren't actually mindless...
if you follow no one, aren't you yourself choosing to do that? so then, you're following yourself.
God created man in his own image.... not "her" own image.

No, most Christians aren't as loud-mouthed as this one. Most are more humble and don't seek to push their beliefs onto the rest of mankind. It's the vocal minority that needs to learn humility.

Because a book written by many men who lived in societies that treated women as property say so?

That's false on its face as Mary wasn't a virgin. That's just a mistranslation.
