Why do people always need something from me...

Anyone else feel like this? I never ask anybody for anything, yet my phone rings at LEAST once a day (usually more) from somebody needing a favor off of me, or they need me to do something for them, or they need my advice...UGH!!!! My life is like a service center for other people!!! And it's not people that you can say "go take a flying leap.." to either, so telling them off won't help.

Just seems like all of the inconveniences in my life are caused by other people :|

same problem. just say no.
people get used to you helping them, but somehow, they will never think about giving.

How am I going to say no to a 14 yr old nephew with a broken PC and a report he needs to print out for tomorrow, or when dad needs help moving a bed, or when the inlaws need a ride to the airport (that one really got me steamed- expected me to pick them up at 10:30pm on a school night when I was home alone with the kids). Like I said, it's not really people you can say no to :( Stupid family of leeches!

Jesus.. I hear ya. In Fact, are you my other personality? My close group of friends works out real well, we all contribute real well, but then the friend circle keeps growing and growing and growing. My cell rings for sh!t all day.

I used to be frustrated by that, but then I realized that some day I may need a favor. So, I just help and do what I can for my family / friends in need of computer help.

We are having our first child in September and planning on buying a house in the next couple of years, so I'm sure we'll need a favor here and there.
