I've been meaning to ask this question for quite some time. I'm sure there's some kind of natural chemical in them that does it. Not onion powder; I use it in my cooking all the time when I don't have a real onion, and it doesn't do it. I had onion rings w/lunch today and about 90 minutes later, I'm whacking my head off the screen :Q Just curious.....a lighter thread in light of the heavy duty stuff on here today.
