why do nerds love jessica alba so much?

I never really understood why people think she's more attractive than someone like Kate Beckinsale or Megan Fox.
 
She started off on a show where she kicks a$$. Dorks are into it.

I mean, look at Jennifer Gardner; she looks like a man but people think she's hot too... not as hot as Jessica Alba, of course! 😛
 
Probably because she's more accessable and down-to-earth than most celeb women. Thus better gf material. <-- my guess
 
Maybe because she plays comic strip roles?

I find Jessica Biel, Keira Knightley, and Scarlett Johansson to be far more interesting and desirable.

 
My guess is that she's typically in committed relationships and thus has more of that "girl next door" quality. She's not nearly as trashy as Kate Beckinsale (who cheated on her husband) or Britney and Lindsay Lohan. Those two go without any explanation. It's obvious to see why people like her a lot. She's beautiful, no exaggerated boobs or ridiculous personality traits.

Regardless, human attraction is a funny animal and no one can predict it 🙂
 
they like her because she's exotic looking being interracial, but not extremely so. You have your typical blond hair, blue eyed starlet and they get boring to a lot of us. They all look basically the same to me, and Alba does stand out in that aspect. She's not my favorite female out there, but I'd put her way higher on my list than just about any other female in Hollywood.
 
i guess its funny to mention her because she's mentioned so much. she's the "hot girl". more she's mentioned the more ger status is defined as the hot girl. viral hotness? personally i think she's cute but not like #1 or anything like that...
 
Call me strange, but I don't find her very attractive. She's pretty, but there's just nothing special about her.

I clicked on the link and I don't trust what they said, not because I don't think Alba can't be like that but the post referred to her as "curvy 23-year-old" I know Hollywood has a different standard of what's curvy and what's not. But there's nothing curvy about her, I would even go as far as to say she is overly skinny.
