Fedex just seems to deliver packages faster, UPS will sit on a package til the day it's due, Fedex will actually deliver it a day early.

FedEx has brighter colors, I mean, come on, who likes seeing a sht brown truck driving up to you every time with a guy coming out all dressed in sht brown too..
brown is the color of most boxes,t heya re obsessed with shippng boxes
what is their not to like about that???

I find that Fedex is more professional with the handling of your package. But I don't mind either. I don't even mind USPS. Just get me my package in good condition.

you know, it's funny how everytime this issue is mentioned, fedex is almost unanimously preferred... i know that personally i have valid reasons for siding with fedex... so i dont see how ups moves so many packages... i guess its from the business sector

if you've ever worked at a UPS sorting facility then you'd understand why i just can't trust UPS

I've had very good luck with Fedex. One time the label ripped off of a box I was shipping to a fellow member which contained a 300D. Under that label was another label, a DHL label going to my parents. Fedex actually took the time to send it back to my parents address, where it arrived safely and I was able to resend.

I've had UPS loose/steal a number of packages, including RAM from another member on this board. :|

Fedex service is superior in my area. Fedex ground = teh sh!t. 5 business days from CA to Maine (not that I have shipped that far, but that's what it is!).

It depends on your area mostly... methinks.

Guess a lot depends on who your driver is. Our UPS guy is great. I'd say 95% of our packages come UPS and we've never had one problem. On the other hand the FedEx guy seems to be a total moron, he's delivered to the wrong address twice, packages left in the rain, they are also totally put out when you call to request they fix their problems.

Fedex treats my packages with respect. I get them and the boxes are almost perfect EVERY TIME.

UPS... well every package I get from them is at least damaged or really banged up.

UPS is much more reliable for me now, after I got to know the delivery guy a little bit 🙂 The FedEx guys are lazy, they dont want to deliver to my apartment so they just slap a note downstairs in my lobby and say they tried delivering but no one was home.

UPS used to do that to me, but I lived in a basement apartment! Talk about lazy...

FedEx most of times will deliver earlier than quoted. UPS will wait until the quoted day even though the damn package is sitting in their warehouse.

FedEx delivers sooner in the day, UPS delivers later in my area.

UPS can bite me, every package that i get thru them is smashed and dented. Well, i have gotten one or two that were in OK shape. FedEx has never damaged my packages and they always arrive in the timeframe i paid for or before.

Fed Ex just up'ed its rates across the board with some stupid azz surcharges(i gue4ss to compensate for higher petrolium costs). Why the F8ck dont they just come out and say- were charging you more cause gas webnt up, instead of making up some stupid B.S fees(signature fees etc.) still prefer Fed ex to UPS though, by a WIDE margin.

Actually for my 2 cents, I have to say that Fedex does a great job in my area. My orders from Newegg always come on time and in great shape. The Fedex delivery people are even pleasant to talk to as well.
