Why do most people love fedex and not ups?

Fedex messes up from time to time, forget to deliver my package because left it in the facility, oops :)
Then another time, drivers couldn't find my address and said "incorrect address, unable to deliver which delayed my shipment by 5 days!
This is all fedex, screwing up majorly occasionally
Thought my sister likes Fedex a lot, she say it can never get lost. Much much better then USPS aka postal service blah blah blah

Why does newegg so choose fedex over UPS, hmm I smell favoritism.
The only way to avoid using fedex is to not use newegg.

I like FedEx just because it's easier to have them leave the package instead of play tag with you. UPS is good too, though. Never really had a bad experience with either.

The delivery drivers around here for UPS will just throw packages wherever they feel like, for whatever reason they like - that is, if it's a UPS driver. They sometimes send stuff on the last mile via USPS - in that case, everything is great.

Oh, and UPS is much more expensive to ship almost ANYTHING than Fedex is. I've never had any problems with Fedex (except for one time), and they always seem to be less expensive than UPS.

UPS likes to play soccer with your boxes. My friend described his job at UPS as playing Jenga but with HUGE boxes.

This sounds like a bunch of teenager just messing around? I hate that. I believe its not UPS fault if this happened, they either fire them or just tolerate them.
which of course they choose the latter ones
Last my package from USPS sent priority was all smashed up, teenagers at work?
oh, screw them

For me in San Jose, UPS normally takes around 12pm-3pm sometimes.

FedEx? The package is ALREADY in front of my door before I wake up! Now that's SERVICE! ALSO, when they can, Fedex will try to deliver again a SECOND TIME ON THE SAME DAY! UPS NEVER EVER does that.

It's too bad both couriers dont' allow customers to just have them deliver the package to the nearest service center and then go pick them up. To me, I can get the package immediately when I want and not have to wait around for both couriers to deliver. It also saves them time and money. In fact, customers should get a discount on shipping if they do use that service.

They're really about equal, but sometimes you just get unlucky depending on location. In one city there was an old woman that worked with FedEx who would always throw the package up against the door or wall. Then in another packages from UPS would often arrive a bit smashed. FedEx is defenitely a bit faster though.

UPS is much more reliable for me now, after I got to know the delivery guy a little bit :) The FedEx guys are lazy, they dont want to deliver to my apartment so they just slap a note downstairs in my lobby and say they tried delivering but no one was home.

UPS destroyed a lot of packages of mine, most of it being my DJ equipment (which is expensive stuff)

Fedex hasn't destroyed anything of mine, they get it to me faster, and I like their policy of them being smart enough to put my packages in our garage...

UPS is slow and hard on packages. USPS should not even be considered for shipping anything over 5lbs, they are crazy with their prices.

UPS>Fedex.
Fedex sucks here in Backwater, PA. The Fedex guy will invariably deliver a package I'm waiting for to my wife at her office. Usually he does that when I've paid extra for overnight or 2nd day. It pretty much defeats the fvckin purpose.

I've found UPS to be a lot slower and a lot less likely to actually ring my doorbell when I'm home waiting for a package.
