Why do men wear cologne in an office environment?

I just wish men wouldn't drown themselves in it, it makes me wanna puke. Perfume isn't too bad, its far less obnoxious. Cologne is like, " HERE I AM TO SAVE THE DAY!" So obnoxious.

blecch!

The problem is not the cologne, but with how much is used, when it's used, and where it's put. It should not be used on your clothes, but on your body, and no more than one or two sprays at the maximum. Put it on when you get out of the shower or when dressing, so that the scent is not overpowering.

The key is that it should only be lightly detectable to people who are in VERY close contact with you, not to Joe-Blow in the mailroom three floors down.

Maybe I'm trying to get Joe-blow in the mailroom to notice me, though 😉 😛
